On January 30, 2026, Women In Distress of Broward County (WID) proudly hosted the 8th Annual Women’s Empowerment Forum at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. This energizing event brought together advocates, supporters, and changemakers dedicated to uplifting survivors and empowering women.
The afternoon featured engaging conversations, shared inspiration, and a powerful keynote from Alexandra Silva Labarr, marketing expert and author of Show Up Scared. Her authentic and motivating message encouraged attendees to face fear, embrace their voice, and show up boldly in every part of their lives.
