Position Summary
Reporting to the Residential Director, the Residential Manager will work in collaboration with the Residential Management Team to provide leadership and supervision of advocates and support staff to ensure quality of services and shelter operations. The Residential Manager will provide daily oversight of department activities as designated by the Residential Director. This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule and on-call availability.
Days/Hours
Days/Hours: Monday through Friday, 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.
This position requires the candidate to have scheduling flexibility and on-call availability. May require weekends and/or overnight as needed to support the team. Due to the nature of working in a 24/7 Emergency Shelter, working on a holiday and/or during a hurricane may be required to ensure adequate support for the participants in the program.
Qualifications/Skills

Bachelors Degree in Social Services or related field, required.

2 years of supervisory experience.

2-4 years of experience working in a residential or communal living environment.

2 years of case management experience.

Valid Florida driver’s license. Safe driving record. Proof of Automobile Liability Insurance.
Essential Job Functions

The Residential Manager will provide trauma-informed direct services to survivors of domestic violence including individual and group counseling, support, and crisis intervention as needed. Utilizes the empowerment model and maintains a non-judgmental attitude towards participant's decisions. Models non-violent conflict resolution and takes appropriate steps to deal with emergency situations with the goal of maintaining the safety of all residents.

The Residential Manager will monitor, support, and provide leadership and delegate responsibilities as needed during their shift to ensure the safety and needs of the department are met within the designated shift. Responsibilities include the management of the: shelter roster, participants, advocate assignments, assistant responsibilities, and custodial work completion.

Residential Manager will monitor Advocate's case load and advocacy services to ensure survivors are being provided with comprehensive case management and advocacy services as outlined in their Job Description and Benchmark Indicator Form.

Residential Manager will provide oversight of all quality assurance and chart audit reviews. Completes, coordinates, and reviews residential advocacy charts. Submits reports in a timely manner to Residential Director and responds to follow-up requests regarding reports.

Residential Manager will oversee inventory process, including working with Residential Director to complete and analyze the ongoing needs of shelter survivors.

Residential Manager will complete monthly reports and ensure staff will meet position productivity standards and funding contractual obligations and meet position quality assurance standards.

Completes other tasks as assigned.

Employee will be required to take the Department of Children and Families (DCF) Core Competency training and obtain a passing grade of 75% or higher.
