Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Outreach, the Adult Therapy Supervisor is responsible for managing the delivery of the therapeutic counseling services for adults.
Days/Hours
M-F 9:00am-6:00pm, with 2 evening (12:00pm-9:00pm) shifts a week required. Saturdays may be required based on the needs of the agency. Hours may vary depending on department/agency needs.
Qualifications/Skills

Master's Degree in mental health or social work field required or equivalent years of experience. License preferred.

Supervisory/management experience preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience with adults with severe emotional disturbances, trauma, and/or abuse issues.

Valid Florida driver's license. Acceptable driving record. Proof of automobile liability insurance.
Essential Job Functions

The Adult Therapy Supervisor will provide ongoing supervision and coaching to the Adult Therapists and the Adult Therapist Interns.

The Adult Therapy Supervisor will be responsible for keeping up with industry standards and trends as it relates to the job and participate in the sharing of innovative ideas to improve the service delivery model, processes, and ensure services are in line with best practice models.

The Adult Therapy Supervisor will assist the Director of Outreach in the creation and management of the annual strategic plan and budget and will assist in the management of departmental grant outcomes.

The Adult Therapy Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining an active case load and will ensure that all services provided are empowerment-based and are consistent with Department of Children and Families (DCF) standards.
