Position Summary
The Children Enrichment Aid will provide a safe and developmentally appropriate environment for children.
Days/Hours
20 hrs/wk Sat-Sun 8:00am-7:00pm, (1 hour lunch break) hours are part time and may vary depending on department/agency needs. (subject to change to meet agency needs)
Qualifications/Skills

High School diploma or equivalent with experience may substitute for formal education

Computer literate.

Prior experience working with children preferred.

Valid Florida driver's license. Safe driving record. Proof of automobile liability insurance.

Bilingual Spanish Preferred
Essential Job Functions

The Children Enrichment Aid will develop a positive relationship with the children and their caregivers while providing activities that engage children and build self-esteem.

The Children Enrichment Aid will ensure that equipment and facilities are clean, safe, and well maintained. The Children Enrichment Aid will ensure that all services provided are empowerment-based and are consistent with Department of Children and Families (DCF) standards.

The Children Enrichment Aid will be knowledgeable in childhood developmental stages and needs. The employee holding this position must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Employee will be required to take the Department of Children and Families (DCF) Core Competency training and obtain a passing grade of 75% or higher.
