Position Summary
WID is looking for a Residential Lead, Overnight that demonstrates strong initiative, is good at problem solving, planning, and has a passion for the organization’s mission.
Impact: This position will work in collaboration with the Residential leadership team and will provide daily oversight of department activities as designated by the Residential Services Director.
Days/Hours
Monday-Friday 10:00pm- 6:00am,. This schedule requires the candidate to work every other weekend and must have scheduling flexibility and on-call availability as needed to support the team and meet the needs of this agency. May be required to be available and remain onsite to assist during emergencies and other critical times.
Qualifications/Skills

Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field, required.

Two years of supervisory experience, required.

Experience working in a residential or communal living environment, preferred

Proficient Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. including in database management and working with spreadsheets.

Experience with purchase orders and inventory tracking and management.

Valid Florida driver’s license. Safe driving record. Proof of Automobile Liability Insurance.
Essential Job Functions
-
Provide trauma-informed direct services to survivors of domestic violence including individual and group counseling, support, and crisis intervention as needed. Utilizes the empowerment model and maintains a non-judgmental attitude towards participant's decisions.

Monitor, support and provide leadership and delegate responsibilities as needed during their shift to ensure the safety and needs of the department are met within the designated shift. Shift responsibilities include the management of the: shelter roster, file and auditory process, inventory, participant. advocate assignments, monitor responsibilities and custodial work completion.

Monitor Residential Assistants workload to ensure job responsibilities are adhered to as outlined in their Job Description and Benchmark Indicator to include support to advocacy services to ensure survivors are being provided with comprehensive case management and advocacy services.

Provide oversight of all quality assurance and chart audit reviews. Completes, coordinates, and reviews Residential advocacy charts. Submit reports in a timely manner to Residential Director and responds to follow-up requests regarding reports.

Oversee inventory process, including working with Residential Director to complete and analysis of the ongoing needs of shelter survivors.

Complete monthly reports and ensure staff will meet position productivity standards and funding contractual obligations and meet position quality assurance standards.

Complete other work-related tasks as assigned.

Employee will be required to take the Department of Children and Families (DCF) Core Competency training and obtain a passing grade of 75% or higher.
